　　Decision 13-2/34 Mopping Up Casual Water on Line of Play
　　Q: A pool of casual water was on the putting green between the players ball, which was lying short of the green, and the hole. The players caddie mopped up the water. Was this permissible?

　　A: No. When the players caddie improved the line of play by removing the water, the player was in breach of Rule 13-2 and incurred a penalty of loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.
